The supplier Delta EMEA has introduced a new generation of motors and drives, developed to offer superior technical performance and greater operational efficiency.

Since the new Series is not directly interchangeable with the previous one, we have finalized the upgrade of the entire range of Elektro electric actuators currently available, including those using Delta.

In summary, the new generation of components introduces significant application advantages:

• Reduced dimensions: more compact motors, while maintaining the same size and mechanical interface
• Encoder technology: “battery-less” multi-turn absolute system
• IP65 protection: standard protection rating extended to all new motors
• Integrated safety: drives equipped with the Safe Torque Off function
• Communication protocols: drives available in 4 versions: Step/Dir, ProfiNET, CANopen and EtherCAT.
• Flexible wiring: connectors with flexible cables for mobile installation available in lengths of 3, 5, 10 and 20 meters

To ensure a smooth transition and correct product identification (motors, drives, cables and accessories), the letter "N" has been introduced in the seventh position of the part number configuration. The letter "N" will also appear as the final character in the codes of standard actuators.

Due to this generational technology leap, some accessories and the entire cable line of the new Series are not compatible with the previous one.
